IAAP MissionThe International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is the association for office professionals founded in 1942. IAAP represents secretaries, executive assistants, office managers, and other office professionals. We are the world's largest association for administrative support staff with nearly 600 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide. IAAP’s objective is to elevate the standards of the administrative profession through continuing education, programs and publications. IAAP administers the Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®)/Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) ratings. To attain the CPS and CAP ratings, candidates must meet a combination of education and work experience requirements as well as pass the CPS/CAP Exams. Testing is done in May and November at test sites throughout the United States, Canada, and several other countries.

North Dallas Chapter was chartered May 12, 1982, and serves members who live
or work in the North Dallas area: Addison, Carrollton, Dallas, Farmers
Branch, Garland, Plano, Richardson, Allen, or in other surrounding areas.
